The assault caused the partial shutdown of the Central Terminal Area tunnel and the T3 car park.

An additional two individuals have been arrested in connection with a robbery at London's Heathrow Airport in which over twenty individuals were injured by a substance believed to be pepper spray, as stated by law enforcement.

A 24-year-old man, was arrested in the Lambeth area for suspected robbery and assault and a 23-year-old woman was arrested for suspected conspiracy to commit robbery. They both are still being held, authorities confirmed.

The arrests come after an investigation into an assault at the multi-level parking garage at Terminal 3 on Sunday. Prior to the incident, two women had stolen from them their luggage after getting out of a car park lift.

A three-year-old girl was among the those hurt in the event. A total of five individuals went to hospital for medical care and were later discharged.

Officers arrested a man in his thirties for suspected robbery and assault near the location. He was subsequently released under investigation as the investigation proceeds.

Authorities were called at about 8:10 in the morning GMT following reports of a number of individuals injured by an irritating chemical believed to be pepper spray.

The attack - which authorities stated was a standalone incident and not being treated as an act of terror - caused delays to rail services and the partial closure of the Central Terminal Area tunnel and the T3 parking facility for a short time.
